----Posting\Replying\Private Messaging----
- Spamming - You may not make duplicate posts or replies. Double replying is allowed, but keep the "No duplicate replies" rule in mind. If it was accidental, please delete that extra reply. Also, please do not spam other users using the Torrent-Finder private messanger system. This spamming rule also means that repeated begging is not allowed. We don't need to hear the word 'please' in multiple replies.
- Flaming - Have a problem with another member on the forums? Either report that user, take it to private messanger, or instant messenger if necessary. Otherwise, you will get warned and possibly banned from Torrent-Finder Forums. This includes racism and threats.
- Misleading Links - When making a post or reply, please dont lie about links you are giving out in that thread. Like, please dont do this: Saying "yeah but this website is cooler i dont own it and it has all kinds of cool games and stuff.. http://somewebsite.com/refferer.php?id=328234" when that site really goes to a free ipod website or something like that. If you see anybody who does this, please report them immediately! This offense can result in a permanent ban from Torrent-Finder Forums. This also includes giving out mis-leading links in your signature or through private messages.
- Stay On Topic! - When posting in a thread, please don't talk about chuck norris in an Azureus help topic, or post a topic about "your favorite music" in the BitTorrent News section. Try to stay on topic. Going a little off topic in a reply is fine, but try to keep the topic 'On Topic' as much as possible.
- No Porn - Please do not post any nudity and\or pornographic pictures in posts, your signature, your avatar, or in private messages. Also, you may not link to any sites containing porn and\or pictures containing nudity, and you may not discuss porn in both posts and private messages. Its simply NOT allowed.
- Bad Language- Ok, this one we are going to allow. But PLEASE keep it to a minimum. Otherwise you will get warned. Just because you feel as if you of age to do this, doesn't change the fact that there is still very young people who browse these forums. Please respect that.
- Images - When posting an image, please do not post anything offensive, gore(extreme blood\violence), pornographic, nude, or anything that may harm a 10 year olds mind or make me want to throw up
 .. Depending on the offense will depend on whether you get a simple warning, suspended, or banned.
- Uploading - Torrent-Finder Forums allow you to upload guides and tutorials into the "Guides & Tutorials" section, but when uploading in a post, please keep these rules in mind: The file MUST be a guide or tutorial, it has to follow the '* Images' rule as posted above(because it also applies to uploading files), it must not contain any copyrighted material(e.g., do not post O'reilly's google hacks 2005, or any ebook and\or guides\tutorials that violates any of the United States copyright laws), do not post the following file formates in a compressed or non compressed file(.zip, .rar, etc): .exe, .com, .bat (those files might harm your system!), and the guides\tutorials MUST be related to BitTorrent, BitTorrent clients, and\or p2p.
- Torrent-Finder Staff - Torrent-Finder Staff will never ask you for your password or personal information(on the forums, through email, or through instant messanger), unless it is something like your AOL Instant messanger, or msn messenger address. On the forums, we have special ranks to help you identify as to who we are. Regular members do not get these special ranks. Impersonating staff will result in a permanent ban.
Also, please do not be dis-respectful to Torrent-Finder Staff and do not flame us through the forums or by using the private messanger system. You will get banned if you do this.
- Bumping - We do allow users to bump a topic up but we do have rules on how to go about doing this. To be able to bump a topic up, it has to be at least 24 hours old. Also, the topic has to contain an un-answered question.
Please do not bump a topic up because your reply has been un-answered. This is only for topics, NOT replies.

----Profile Settings----
- Signature Settings - Please keep your signature from becoming a page hog, and keep it to a small size. No posting large pictures in your signature, and basically all of the general rules(* Bad Language, * Images, *No Porn, * Flaming, *Misleading Links).
- Avatars - When choosing an avatar, please keep in mind the '* Images' rule as posted above, because it also applies to avatars.
- Nickname - Please do not use an offensive-nickname\nickname-that-contains-swearing\nickname-that-contains-a-url upon registration. If you have already registered with an offensive nickname, your nickname contains swearing in it, or your nickname contains a url in it, please contact an administrator immediately to help you change your nickname. Otherwise you may get permanently banned.
