![]() The above picture show your burning options to pick which task to do. To burn an Operating System, you will want to select the first option labeled write image file to disc. The reason why is because you are going burn an ISO image file which the Operating System will be formatted in. (More on this in a bit) |

![]() The above picture indicates the type of media you want to put on the disc you are using to burn on. The Red Outlined Box: This indicates the location you are choosing the ISO image file from that you are burning to your media. (More on this in the next picture.) The Blue outlined Box: This indicates the burn speed and ammount of copies you want to burn. Note: When burning an operating system, we will want to burn at the lowest speed possible and only burn one copy, to avoid corruption. |

![]() The above picture is where you are choosing your ISO image file from, you will want to choose the folder where your Operating System ISO image is stored. (Example Location: C:/Documents and Settings/User/UserNameHere/Ubuntu8.10) Red Outlined box: If you notice in this Tutorial, we will be using an Ubuntu Operating System in the ISO image format. |

![]() The picture above indicates that you are ready to burn your ISO image to a DVD Media, (now is the time to insert your DVD media disc.) The Red Outlined Box: Indicates your write speed and ammount of copies you want to make, for an Operating System, as we covered earlier, we want to only burn one copy at a time, at a low speed. The Blue Outlined Box: This is the tab you will click after you are sure you want to continue burning your Image to your DVD disc. (When you are fully ready to burn your disc. click the tab) |
