aXXo’s Pirated Movies Used to Promote the iMac

The DVD ripper aXXo is without a doubt one of the most popular DVD-rippers. Even though he hasn't been active since November 2007, his rips are still widely used, even by commercial outlets such as the John Lewis store. They must have thought, "Why use a real DVD if we can use a pirated movie for free?"

aXXo's rips are of top quality no question, commercial sales of pirated stuff is bad, just same as the corporates stealing our money

I guess he stopped already, some problems with piratebay maybe, but other release groups are coming up very fast

In some index sites there where a set of people who routinely target his release and hurl abuse at his rips, and sometimes mods don't have a final say, I guess it might have happened elsewhere also, this might be a reason just my thought.

The speed at which new groups are turning up is really encouraging sign.

Hope we live as long as to enjoy their release.
