Hi All,
I have never had problems with Utorrent or downloading in general but I have many many torrents that are not really downloading. I have for example 10 different torrents where there are somewhere around (500) to (600) seeders in parenthesis and zero without. I have been out of using torrents for a year now and don't remember ever the number of seeders being this extreme that I have access to. Any ideas of how to improve this? |

That basically means that you are not connecting to any seeders. Have you forwarded your ports correctly? Are you getting a green light on the bottom of uTorrent, as opposed to a red sign or a yellow caution symbol? Have you checked your ISP for throttling?

Thanks Headbanger for helping... There is no green light at the bottom. It's a yellow triangle with a "!" in it. Says "no incoming connections." I'm not sure if my ports are forwarded correctly or what throtttle is.

utorrent has a very nice tester to check the port built right in. If you are running through a router go and make a exception for utor1 and open a port that you will use specifically for utorrent. Throttling is when the ISP limits the number of incoming connections to a client to prevent a possible DOS attack. At least thats what I have always known it to be. However some confuse throttling with capping where the limit and allocate x amount of bandwidth and than cut your speeds down to nada once you have reached that limit.
